The California State Automobile Association (CSAA) Online Guide was the first large electronic performance support system in daily corporate use. It is currently used by over 2200 customer services representatives at regional call centers.

In 1997, the Online Guide and OLGA, its authoring tool, won three major industry awards: Best Customer Service/Support Application, Windows World Open/COMDEX, Award of Excellence, Performance Improvement, International Society for Performance Improvement, and Best Successful Practice Award in Training and Performance Improvement, American Society for Training and Development.

External experts calculated the return on investment for the Online Guide at 783%.
