For Sun Microsystems, while working for Luminare Multimedia, I created intranet-based training modules based on the principle of reusable, granular content.

We integrated the training modules with performance support tools, so that training time and space could be spent on content types appropriate to learning. The user didn't need to waste time trying to absorb lists of facts or other content types more suited to just-in-time performance support.
