USER INTERACTION DESIGN
PROJECTS
Notes from the designer about some of her previous user interaction design projects.
Click an icon for a closer look at a project. I designed the user interface for OLGA, the authoring tool that the California State Automobile Association (CSAA) uses to update its Online Guide. I led the multi-enterprise technical design and development team that produced OLGA.
In 1997, along with the Online Guide, OLGA won top honors from Windows World, ASTD, and ISPI.
From the beta version of this application, I recommended changes that significantly improved usability and user comfort.

I developed a workable, user-focused interaction design for CSAA’s Customer Service System, a GUI front end for the organization’s many customer service applications.
In four weeks, I led a team of industry experts and Oracle technical staff to produce one of the very earliest workable strategies for reusable content objects (RCO) for training and performance support. I also led the team that designed the appealing and user-friendly interface for Oracle’s RCO informational intranet site.
I designed the user interface for the Online Guide, the first large electronic performance support system in daily corporate use.
In 1997, along with OLGA, the Online Guide won top honors from Windows World, ASTD, and ISPI. External experts calculated the return on investment for the Online Guide at 783%.
I designed and built this appealing website and wrote all of the content.
